The Classic Stand-alone Version
LPC is one of the nation's leading publishers of horse race handicapping e-books and software. Especially popular is WINNING AT THE TRACK (WATT), an inexpensive speed/pace handicapping program, first introduced in 1985, and improved and updated every year since. Unlike the online program, the "Classic" version is PC-only (not Apple products).
You will be amazed by the accuracy of this program! WATT not only presents a complete picture of the contest, but it also shows how the race is likely to unfold. The original Classic version is in sync with the new interactive website.

Until a few years ago, WINNING AT THE TRACK was strictly a DOS-based program, and due to its popularity, it is still being updated and sold. Today, every stand-alone WATT program works well in Win95, Win98, 2000, XP, and VISTA. 64-bit machines require the free DOSbox program, not supported by LPC. Ask the Publisher for more details. Of course, none of this is a factor with the new online version which works with any computer or mobile device that can read an internet page.
WINNING AT THE TRACK race files are created quickly and inexpensively by a program called the DATABASE (included). This isn't a data-entry program. It simply transfers information from a BRIS file to a new WATT race file.
